4. When a Magistrate, not empowered to exercise the powers of the Board under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 is of the opinion that the person alleged to have committed the offence and brought before him is a child-

a) he shall, without any delay, record such opinion and forward the child immediately along with the record of such proceedings to the Board having jurisdiction.

b) he shall, without any delay, record such opinion and forward the child immediately along with the record of such proceedings to the Committee for taking appropriate measures.

c) he shall, without any delay, record such opinion and forward the child immediately along with the record of such proceedings to the Child Welfare Police Officer for causing his production before the Board having jurisdiction.

6. The appointment of any member of the Board under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, except the Principal Magistrate, may be terminated after holding an inquiry by the State Government, if he —

ii) fails to attend the proceedings of the Board consecutively for three sittings without any valid reason.

iii) fails to attend less than three fourths of the sittings in a year.

iv) becomes ineligible under subsection (4) of section 4 of the Act during his term as a member.
